What a great place to have a drink and to eat. They serve great food here as well.

Just a bar, don't go for food. I ordered the chicken pot pie. It arrived as a stew with burnt puff pastry on top. I tried to just eat the stew part but it was very bland and the chicken grainy. People were nice though.

We went here on a busy event night for a warm place and a bite to eat with kids. The waiter was helpful, and the food was good. Guinness burger, fresh fries, corned beef hash all tasty. My wife has done food allergies and they were accommodating. I'll have to go back to enjoy their selection of Irish whiskey.They did have a kids menu, and the kids enjoyed their food. The kids actually got their own table, which they liked. It's a pub, so they didn't have to worry about being quiet.

Came in for a quick bite and boy were we wrong. When we first came in only a few tables taken, but by the time we left it was packed.Food was ok ( burger and fries/ fish and chips). Service was awful. They were short staffed, which we only know because a gentleman told a couple near us with an apology. We recieved no comments from anyone. Took over 20 minutes for food to come and never got the silverware my bf requested so gave him mine to use. Felt like we were in no mans land after waiting for someone so we could ask for check 15 min after we finished eating. Took another 15 to actually get the check. Might be worth while once they have more staff but if the hiring sign is still in the window, stay away!

Quaint, authentic Irish pub with excellent service and a real local feel. A must go to stop in Annapolis.

The food was excellent, but the service was very slow.

I ended up here 4th of July after running through the storm. Definitely not my type of bar. There service was fantastic (bartenders were making all the random drinks we came up with without getting annoyed with us which I really appreciated lol) and the people I'm guessing are the regulars are really fun. They had karaoke that night which kept us entertained through the night. I was surprised that I had so much fun. Awesome place.

Really cool place. Staff is awesome and the beer is great. You'll enjoy the history of this place with police, fire department and military patches adorning the huge selection of bottles. We had the crab dip and the food is on point.

Great Irish pub. Cold Guinness on tap. Great small food selection, including corn beef sliders and Shepherd's Pie.

Get the Irish Coffee Shooter! And then get a few more!

Visited after a 64 mile bike ride (cycling). Had the miniball crab cakes and the Dublin Pot Roast, both were great. The service was great also. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for genuine Irish Pub grub.

Nice pub right on Main street in Annapolis. Great selection of Irish/Scottish products (including a rare find of Glen Fiddich 15yr!) and the bartender was very friendly and helpful.

I go for the karaoke! Great singers there. Call ahead to make sure they have it that night

Great time tonight! Live music, and friendliest bar staff! Brad and Nikki were Killin it. Super busy and they took care of everyone. Customer service skills for days. No reason this castle shouldn't have 5 stars.

Lovely bar. Really replicates an Irish bar back in Ireland. Good Guinness!! Staff need training and to learn to smile and engage with customers.. essential when you you own an Irish bar.. they need to exude Irish charm .. not my experience today unfortunately 😔

Love this place! We had the Shepard's Pie and Irish breakfast. Large portions that tasted amazing!

Great food, poor beer selection for a place that has 'pub' in its name. I order bangers and mash which were good. Could have used more gravy and the addition of mushrooms. Beer wasnt ice cold, and the selection was less than I had expected. Overall, this place isn't something to write home over, but will do if you're looking for quality food in Annapolis on a busy weekend night.

We went here on a Saturday night when all the other bars nearby were packed, it was the only place that was pretty much deserted and we could easily find a table. And now we know there’s a reason for that. We ordered 4 drinks, one was not what we ordered so we asked for the correct drink. The owner came over to our table and basically yelled at us for sending the drink back because “he made it and it was correct the first time”. We left pretty quickly after that. Good way to keep your bar empty of paying customers! We won’t be back.

Omg the decor of it is awesome! Then I looked up some info behind the name (Castlebay) and loved it even more. Everyone is nice and friendly, and the karaoke events are out of this world! Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a good Irish pub with friendly staff, this is the place. You only need come here on e or twice and the bar staff remembers your preference.

The wait service is poor, but the karaoke was BIG FUN!!!

I am giving this a generous rating considering we went here only for some beers and it was not super full but they had not enough staff to cover things that day. It was basically a bartender, one waitress, and the owner or higher up manager who likely mostly talks to customers and usually doesn't have to deliver food to tables etc. It has a good pub feel to it and plenty of seating. A nice size bar and friendly folks. The beer menu is about what you'd expect in a pub though some other spots in town are probably better from that perspective. Definitely still worth popping in if you want some basic pub food and a beer on main street.

Visited on a slowly holiday lunchtime. Lovely little bar, wonderful service & bartender was great. Food was good but under seasoned, although the French onion soup was f'g great. Definitely coming back

GOOD FOOD. One of many pubs in the area, but this one is always popular and earns it's repeat customers. Try a hot or cold Irish coffee, lot of drink choices, and a prime location in Annapolis. Good luck parking though. And be ready for a wait during peak times.

Castle bay is an awesome little pub in Annapolis that has great food and atmosphere. They have karaoke on Thursday nights which is a huge crowd pleaser. I recommend the classic burger and the soup and salad menu is exceptional. You can definitely have fun here and I was impressed how fast I could get a refill on my beverage throughout the night. I recommend this pub as a good place to grab some food and have a great time.

Quaint little Irish Pub in downtown Annapolis that has the feel of a authentic Pub in Ireland. Awesome decor and a great selection of drinks. Prices were good but the waitstaff seemed to be lacking friendliness. Decent overall experience.

I've heard the food is good, but I was there after the kitchen closed. Great people and drinks and LIVE MUSIC!!!
